To develop and manage the implementation of policy frameworks and monitor the utilisation of provincial government’s fiscal resources.

• Promote optimal financial resource allocation in Education, DSRAC, Safety and Governance and Administration Cluster, monitor and report on financial and non-financial performance, oversee the analysis and monitor the implementation of strategic objectives and APPs against budget.
• Promote optimal financial resource allocation in departments within the Education, Sports, Safety and Governance and Administration Cluster, monitor and report on financial and non-financial performance, oversee the analysis and monitor the implementation of strategic objectives and APPs against budget.
• Promote effective management and enforce transparency of provincial financial asset portfolio.
